NetM Connect uses personal information only to operate, protect and improve messaging, calling, Status and NetM Spaces. Access is limited by account permissions and Space roles.

Account details such as your name, phone number, email address, profile photo and bio; the content you choose to send or post; contacts and Space memberships; device, notification and security information; and basic service activity needed to operate the platform.
Why we use it
To create and secure your account, connect you with people and Spaces, deliver messages and calls, display Status updates, send requested notifications, prevent misuse, provide support and maintain reliable service.
Who can access it
Your content is shown to the people or audiences you select. Space administrators can manage their Space and members, but platform analytics do not expose private chat bodies, voice notes, personal media or call audio. Service providers may process limited data where needed to host and deliver NetM Connect.
Storage and retention
Information is retained only for operational, safety, legal and account-recovery needs. Status posts expire after 24 hours. Some security and audit records may be retained after content or account changes where reasonably required.
Security
NetM Connect uses access controls, protected sessions, encrypted network connections and restricted administrative tools. No online service can promise absolute security, so suspected account misuse should be reported promptly.
Your choices
Use Settings to control online presence, last seen, profile visibility, read receipts, Status audiences, replies, group invitations, notifications and call preferences. You may also block contacts and manage your profile information.
Access and manage your information
You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal information. Verified deletion requests may retain limited records where required for security, dispute resolution or legal obligations.
South African privacy rights
NetM Connect handles personal information with reference to South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Depending on the circumstances, you may request access or correction, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or raise a concern with the Information Regulator.
